Matthew Foose was born in Bogota, Colombia. Adopted from an orphanage as an infant by an Iowa couple. Having been raised on a farm, full of exotic animals, his passion and love for animals were birthed.
He studied psychology and got his BA from the University of Central Florida, and his master’s degree in mental health counseling from Troy University. His practice as a substance abuse counselor and therapist carried him around the globe. Living and working in 7 countries on 4 continents.
Matthew Foose also pioneered a drug rehab on the island of Barbados. Being burnt out after over a decade of practice, he switched careers. Having taught ESL (English as a second language) in his motherland of Colombia on and off for many years working with orphans like the orphanage he came from and in Venezuela. Also, spent a year in Palestine, Middle East.
Once back stateside, Matthew Foose got into the insurance claims industry working for large insurance carriers. Medical claims, death claims, and now property insurance claims with Premier Claims.
His hobbies include dog walks with his fur kids. Swimming pool in the summer, concerts are his jam (no pun intended), and viewing celestial objects through his telescope almost on a nightly basis. And enjoying life living on a lake, with his waterfowl friends.
